Tributes to our beloved Mary Sandra Williams

A Tribute to Aunty Sandra – A Nurse, A Friend, A Second Mother

Twenty years may seem like a long time, but when someone touches your heart the way Aunty

Sandra did, it never feels like enough. She came into my life as a nurse, but quickly became so

much more — a confidant, a friend, a guardian. To my children, she became “Aunty Sandra,” a

constant source of warmth, kindness, and love. And to me… she became “Mommy.”

Aunty Sandra had a way of making you feel like family, even when you weren’t born into hers.

She embraced me and my children — especially “her boy,Kareem ”— without hesitation,

without condition. Her home, her heart, and her arms were always open. Her compassion knew

no limits, and her strength was the kind that quietly held others up even when no one noticed.

It’s hard to say goodbye to someone so woven into the fabric of your life. Her laughter, her

gentle guidance, her presence — all of it made our world better. Losing her leaves a space no one

else can fill. But even in the sorrow, I find comfort in knowing that heaven has truly gained an

angel.

Aunty Sandra, you will always hold a special place in my heart and memories. Thank you for

being the blessing you were in our lives. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

No words can ever fully capture the essence of who Ms. SANDRA was to me.

My dearest Ms. SANDRA was a friend in time of need, a counsellor, a mother and a God fearing lady.

She had this calm spirit which always made everything seem OKAY and every encounter with Ms. Sandra always left you with a lasting feeling of hope and a positive energy.

She instilled so many lifelong core values in me and I cherished every moment spent with her, around her and speaking to her.

She will always be a rose in my garden of Love, Strength and Peace.

May her sweet soul rest in eternal peace.

Yoyo (Adopted Daughter)

Sandra was a sister, mother and everything else words cannot describe. She played a great part of my life especially bringing my children in this world.  We remained close from then onwards. Sandra  gave me courage in my life which was greatly appreciated. She will be missed dearly.  I know there's a place where we can't see beyond for her. I know she'll be dearly missed.

Rip Sandra I'll always remember you and you were always loved by my children.

Ruth (Friend)

Sandra is and remains this beautiful soul which lived amongst us. We all have a soul Every human being. Our soul is that spark of light in us all which is God. Our soul never dies. Sandra was truly truly a beautiful spark. Her extraordinary kindness, her humility, her intelligence, her beauty and her grace spoke to her warmth and charm. When I think of her legacy I am reminded that she was a person who was able to defy hardship without bitterness. She remained true to the purity of her spirit and the nobleness of her heart. Sandra's legacy teaches us that love is the abiding truth.

In her presence, I felt someone who was not afraid to be herself, to be vulnerable and so there was a sense of ease and calmness when in her company. Through the pain of grief there is the consolation of knowing that her guardian angel has taken her soul back to heaven and we are left understanding the privilege of having witnessed humanity at its very best.

So dearest beloved Sandra may your heart find peace.

Mary Png (Cousin)

My heart is filled with sorrow as I write this tribute to my dear aunt. Over the past couple of years, our bond grew stronger, and that connection meant so much to me. In my darkest time—after the loss of my son—she stayed close to me, offering comfort and love when I needed it most. Her presence during that period brought light to my grief, and I will forever be grateful.

One of the sweetest things about her was how she never forgot my birthday. Year after year, I would receive a thoughtful gift—a reminder that she was thinking of me. Those small gestures meant the world to me.

My aunt was not only a wonderful mother and a devoted wife, but also a deeply compassionate soul. Her kindness extended beyond family to everyone she met. It’s no surprise that she became a nurse—she was born to care for others, and she did so with grace and warmth.

Though she is no longer with us physically, she will always hold a special place in my heart. I will forever remember her beautiful smile, her loving nature, and the joy she brought into my life.

You will be missed more than words can say. I love you with all my heahear.

Forever your niece,

Ammy
