Tributes to our beloved Mary Sandra Williams

My tribute Your mother was very kind and adorable. She was a darling nurse who treated me very nicely when i gave birth to my second son. She was not even on duty that night when I went to hospital but came to see me deliver. In her days working at St Jude, your mother Sandra was one of the best, precious, sweet, loving and kind nurses at St. Jude Hospital. She fought a good fight.   May her rest in peace Teten (Friend) In Loving Memory of Nurse William Today, I’m holding close the memory of someone who left an incredible mark on my heart, Nurse William. Beyond her title, she was my friend, My safe place, My voice of reason when I couldn’t find my own. We didn’t need to be in the same room to feel close. Most of our conversations happened over the phone; at night, in the middle of a long day, or whenever life felt a little too heavy. I’d call her, sometimes not even knowing what I needed, and somehow, she always did. She just had that gift. Her voice alone could calm...

A Tribute to Aunty Sandra – A Nurse, A Friend, A Second Mother Twenty years may seem like a long time, but when someone touches your heart the way Aunty Sandra did, it never feels like enough. She came into my life as a nurse, but quickly became so much more — a confidant, a friend, a guardian. To my children, she became “Aunty Sandra,” a constant source of warmth, kindness, and love. And to me… she became “Mommy.” Aunty Sandra had a way of making you feel like family, even when you weren’t born into hers. She embraced me and my children — especially “her boy,Kareem ”— without hesitation, without condition. Her home, her heart, and her arms were always open. Her compassion knew no limits, and her strength was the kind that quietly held others up even when no one noticed. It’s hard to say goodbye to someone so woven into the fabric of your life. Her laughter, her gentle guidance, her presence — all of it made our world better. Losing her leaves a space no one else can fill. ...

It’s hard to put into words what it feels like to lose my dearest friend.  I will hold dear your spirit of compassion, dedication, and grace during our working years along with our many laughs we shared personally.  I watched with admiration your strength and courage throughout these years battling through your health challenges. I will miss you dear Sandra! Rest peacefully my dearest friend! Hilaria Gervais (friend) From our lunch time conversations in the Gynecologist lunch room and 12:30pm visits to the St Jude Chapel, whether for mass or to meditate and pray, I will be forever thankful. πŸ™πŸΌπŸ™πŸΌπŸ₯Ί.  To my dearest friend Sandra "Jaja" I have known Jaja for the past 40 years while working at a supermarket in Augier. She lived in Augier at that time and was also a nurse at St Jude hospital. We had a very strong friendship where we bounded from day one till her death. I remember the day that I gave birth to my first son, she wasn't at work that day but she still came to the hospital to ensure that I had a safe delivery. This is where I introduced her to my family. When she worked her night shift on a Sunday I would visit her and bring her dinner. We spoke everyday and every week. The best advice came from Jaja.  There is so much good that I can say about my Jaja. Thank you Jaja my love, for everything you have done for me and for always being a listening ear. You will forever be in my heart. Sleep in internal peace and fly with God's amazing angels  Love you Jaja.  Angela Francis (friend) S-sympathetic A-angelic N-nuturing D-darling R-Responsible A-accommodating Sa...
